What we take
Hard drives (HDD)
From PCs, laptops, servers and DVRs. Sanitized or physically destroyed, with a per-serial-number certificate.
Solid-state drives (SSD and NVMe)
These need different sanitization methods than HDDs — a traditional overwrite is not enough. We apply the correct method for each media type.
Magnetic tape and backups (LTO/DAT)
Old backup libraries hold years of corporate information and are routinely forgotten. We destroy them with documentation.
Arrays, SAN/NAS and loose media
Complete storage arrays, boxes of loose drives, USB sticks and optical media from offices and data centers.

Inventory by serial number
Every medium is logged on receipt; that inventory is the basis of the certificate.

Sanitization or physical destruction
According to your policy: erasure aligned to NIST 800-88 (the medium stays usable) or physical destruction (the medium is gone). We help you decide by data type.

You receive the per-serial certificate — method, date, responsible party — and the destroyed material enters documented recycling (aluminium, magnets, boards).

What storage media do you accept?
Hard drives (HDD), SSD and NVMe units, backup tapes (LTO, DAT), SAN/NAS arrays, USB sticks and optical media — in business volumes, always with data destruction before recycling.
Is formatting a drive not enough?
No. A format — even a "full" one — leaves data recoverable with common tools. Secure disposal requires erasure aligned to the NIST 800-88 standard or physical destruction of the medium, with a certificate documenting it.
Which is better: erasure or physical destruction?
It depends on the data and your policy. NIST 800-88 erasure keeps the equipment reusable or resellable, which recovers value; physical destruction is irreversible and is often required for especially sensitive information. Both come with a per-serial-number certificate.
Do you also destroy old backup tapes?
Yes. Tape libraries (LTO, DAT) concentrate years of corporate information and tend to be forgotten in storage rooms. We destroy them with documentation, alongside the rest of your media.
