Drives, configurations and media are erased under NIST 800-88 or destroyed, with a per-serial-number certificate.

Questions about servers & network equipment
Do you buy used servers?
Yes. We buy the parts with material value — motherboards, processors and memory — valued on composition and lot size; the rest is recycled with documentation. If the server still works as a server, you are better off placing it yourself: that value is higher and entirely yours. Always with the data destroyed first.
Do you handle full data center or site decommissioning?
Yes — it is one of our core services: dismantling, inventory, sanitization, valuation and removal of the entire site, under chain of custody. See the equipment dismantling page for the detail.
What happens to the configurations on network equipment?
Every switch, router and firewall goes through configuration wiping and factory reset before any reuse — your topology and credentials do not leave with the hardware. A record is kept per lot.
Can we send a mixed lot (servers, network, drives, UPS)?
Yes, and that is the norm in a decommissioning. We do the sorting: what gets appraised for buyback, which media go to data destruction, and what enters recycling. You receive a single documentary file for the project.
